Today, the 4th October, is National Golf Lovers’ Day! ⛳️

Although, if you’re a European, then the golf-loving day of the year was actually Sunday 15th September when Europe scored a stunning victory against the USA in the Solheim Cup. I didn’t have TV coverage but listened to the free radio broadcast offered on the Solheim Cup website. I can honestly say, I nearly fell off our third-floor balcony in my excitement when Suzanne Pettersen sunk that winning putt in the last match on the last hole. Even I couldn’t have written a better ending than that 😉.

But seriously, that day, for me, is what sport is all about, and especially women’s sport. Passion, skill, teamwork, and the kind of emotional scenes at the end that have you declaring, “I’m not crying, there’s just something in my eye.” Beautiful stuff.

Anyway, given that my recent release The Long Shot is all about golf, it seemed like National Golf Lovers’ Day was the perfect time to run a giveaway!
